Biography:
I am a Research Scientist in the Department of Agronomy at Iowa State University, USA. I have more than ten years of research and development experience and have worked with diverse research groups in industries, CGIAR centers, and academics. I worked as a sorghum breeder with International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) and a potato breeder with International Potato Center (CIP). Currently, I am focusing on characterizing soil microbial diversity and the role of root exudates in mitigating crop stress in soybean production systems. Skilled in plant breeding, quantitative genetics, plant-microbe interactions, association mapping, nutraceuticals, and citizen science.
