- Biography:
- My full name is Woldemariam Erkalo Gobena. I have received MSc and BSc degree in Statistics from Jimma University in 2015 and 2011 respectively. Currently I am working as a lecturer in Mattu University, College of Natural Sciences, Department of Statistics. I have experience of more than 10 years on teaching courses of Statistics discipline, doing research and rendering community services in the University and Surroundings. I have more than three publications on scientific peer-reviewed journals. I have a broad interest in survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, Bayesian approach, spline regression methods, with applications to biological and medical data. I am particularly interested in the analysis of recurrent event data, medical cost data, and joint models of multi-process data. I have been working as a lecturer, Head of Statistics Department, Associate Registrar, Intern and Externship Coordinator and Researcher in Mattu University since 2011.
