AuthorAID needs your input! Join our WhatsApp focus group

Dear researchers,

As AuthorAID continues to grow, we at INASP are currently researching new ways, technologies, and tools to continue being able to address the needs of early career researchers in and from the Global South.

We think the best way to do this is to look at our own data, the literature, and most importantly, ask you, the community of Global South researchers, a few questions. We would be very grateful if you could join our WhatsApp focus group for the months of July and August, where we will post questions. Your replies will be vital in shaping what AuthorAID and INASP can do in the future. This is your opportunity to share your perspectives and experiences with us to actively contribute to the development of our community.

In the first few days, we will be talking about the digital platforms you use as a researcher. We will then talk about gender issues and gender responsiveness, followed by questions about mentoring. You can either join us for all or just for some of these topics.

We will begin our focus group questions on July 3 to talk about digital tools and platforms – it would be great if you could join us before then. You can join with this link.
